Part-Time Meal Prep Assistant

Part-Time Meal Prep Assistant / Prep Cook

Approximately 10-15 hours per week, with potential for more.

This is an ideal position for an empty nester parent or a college student with free afternoons, though all demographics are welcome to apply!

Hours:

Tuesday & Friday noon-5pm to start, with additional hours and days based on business needs. In November & December, this could increase to up to 5 days per week. No nights or weekends, except for the potential for shifts the weekend before Thanksgiving & Christmas.

Responsibilities:

This role is essential to creating our meals. Duties include light prep work (chopping veggies, making sauces, browning ground beef), following recipes, and performing operational tasks like stocking food, cleaning surfaces, washing dishes you use in meal making and receiving ingredient deliveries.

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation to/from work, preferably living within 20 minutes of Paoli.
• Ability to stand for several hours at a time and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Neat appearance and effective communication skills, fluent in reading/speaking English.
• Excellent attention to detail and a positive, flexible attitude.
• Friendly, customer-focused personality.
• Servsafe certification is preferred but not required.
• At least 2 references.

Compensation: $16-$18/hour based on food experience, with opportunities for increases based on performance.

Customer Service Leader / Front Desk Reception

We are seeking a leader to provide outstanding service and support to our clients at all touchpoints. This includes managing all client communication in person, on the phone, and via email, as well as supporting our other team members.

Hours:

September - June: Approximately 35 hours per week, 10am-5pm. Increased hours may be available in November & December.

July - Labor Day: Approximately 20-25 hours per week (Tue-Thur 9am-5pm, Fri 12pm-5pm).

No nights or weekends, with the exception of occasional daytime hours on Saturday and Sunday prior to Thanksgiving & Christmas.

General Duties:

• Manage all client communication and assist with questions, meal selection, and gift card purchases.
• Process and pack orders for delivery or pick up.
• Handle party and camp registrations.
• Manage office and party supplies.
• Ensure all customer-facing areas are clean, organized, and welcoming to guests.
• Assist with marketing projects, website updates, and menus.

Key Skills & Attributes:

• Proven customer service skills for interacting with a middle-to-upper-income clientele.
• A self-starter who can operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and open to learning new software.
• Cooking experience (home cooking is fine) with the ability to speak articulately about food.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for up to 2 hours at a time, and possesses impeccable attention to detail.

Compensation: $17-$18/hour, with additional compensation considered after 60 days of excellent performance.

Birthday Party Leader

Age 18+, Saturdays, occasional Fridays or Sundays.

We're looking for responsible, enthusiastic, and organized individuals to lead cooking and cupcake birthday parties for kids ages 7-11. This is an ideal position for someone studying education, with babysitting or camp counseling experience.

Hours:

Generally 2-3 weekends per month, with the schedule known 3-4 weeks in advance. An ideal candidate has availability on Saturday from 9am-6:30pm and Friday from 3:30pm-7:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for parents on the party day.
• Lead party activities and manage guests.
• Assist with party preparation, including decorating, baking, and cleanup.

Requirements:

• Childcare clearances (or willingness to get them).
• First aid/CPR certification is ideal but not required.
• Incredibly detail-oriented, yet able to work quickly and efficiently.
• Positive attitude and flexibility—no divas or drama.
• Reliable transportation and preferably lives within 20 minutes of Paoli.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for several hours at a time.
• Servsafe certification is preferred but not required.
• At least 2 references.

Compensation: Party leaders start at $15/hour + gratuities. After a 2-3 shift training period, party leaders often earn $20+/hour with gratuities.
